Regular on This Old House & Host of The New Yankee Workshop.

Discovered by chance by the Director of This old House when he was commisioned to build a barn. The master carpenter has been appearing along side his "Steve n Norm" Compatriot Steve Thomas or in his one-man woodworking fest, The New Yankee Workshop, since 1979.

His cult status is assured due to his ability to dupe an entire audience into believing they too can create joinery masterpieces, despite the fact they dont have $1000's of workshop machinery in their garage. From woodworm ravaged recycled treestump to ornate New England shaker cabinet in a 30 minute show is a sight to behold.
