Steve Irwin - crocodile hunter, every snake and crocodile's dream main course, became popular for his over the top and enthusiastic method of antagonising all creatures dangerous and poisonous. Week after week viewers sit waiting with anticipation the day the 'critter' of Steve's affection turns around and bite's him hard.

Recently, Steve hit the headlines for his incredibly controversial decision to take his month-old son in to feed the crocodiles. Steve was 'snapped' by onlookers dangling a dead chicken in front of a 13-foot crocodile named Murray, with one hand and holding his baby in the other.
